Holiday Stroll Begins At the Library

The annual Stonington Village Stroll is a beloved event and it all begins at the Library! As Stonington residents and visitors gather in
Wadawanuck Square in front of the Library for the official start of the Holiday Stroll at 5:30 pm, we can’t help but be proud of our role in the community.

Join us for our popular, Pre-Stroll  Family Fun from 3 pm to 5 pm, where cookies, cider, crafts and a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas at 5 pm begins the evening’s festivities. In the spirit of the season, please bring baby items for the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center to place under the Library’s giving tree.

The Stroll down Water Street begins at the Library after all who are gathered sing carols and help Santa light the tree! Meander through town and visit the beautifully decorated shops for special festivities and cheer.

As a special treat, international singing sensation Gianpaolo, The Italian Show, will be performing at Social Coffee Roastery with proceeds benefiting the Stonington Free Library. We hear there will be handmade cannolis too! Barazza Style will also share a percentage of sales made during the stroll with the Library.  Remember to stop in and say hello and thank you to all of our Stonington Small Business Collaborative participants!

Most of us put off any discussion about this last stage in life. Why? It is going to happen to all of us whether we are ready or not.

If you have questions or concerns about the last stage of life come join End-of-Life Doulas Noreen Kepple, Greta McGugan, and Lavina Kepple for conversations around this important topic. They are here to help get the dialogue started and navigate the issues surrounding dying.

Registration is strongly encouraged. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdywSQrhG6jo7s8USYB_klj1KLZVghf3BwC1tpgsHdoqtX2Pg/viewform?usp=pp_url
