This year the Stonington Free Library is showing how GivingTuesday is a community-wide act of support! Library Trustee Sage Williams created The Stonington Small Business Collaborative as a way for all our local businesses to join together with members of the community in a matching challenge on GivingTuesday.
Sage has found a unique way to bring our Library supporters and Stonington’s small business community together on GivingTuesday. “Our local businesses have big hearts but often limited budgets. Working together as a group, they are able to create a significant matching opportunity for donors.” As a special thank you, the Library will be highlighting and promoting the local businesses that have joined the Collaborative throughout December – so please check out our GivingTuesday page and watch The Stonington Small Business Collaborative grow.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the outpouring of support from the local business community so far. The idea of GivingTuesday is truly inspirational and I can’t think of a better way to start the holiday season!”
Thanks to the generous funding of Legacy Supporters Switz Real Estate Associates, the law firm of Leckerling, Ladwig & Leamon and The Stonington Small Business Collaborative, your donations to the Library will again be matched this year. Your gift doubles in value when you choose GivingTuesday to show you care about the Stonington Free Library and its value to the Community.
