Our monthly book group is a hit! The group came about through community feedback from our strategic planning process and a collaborative event with eleven public libraries in the area in January — Southeastern CT Libraries Celebrate Wally Lamb. The group meets on the second Thursday of every month at 2 pm at the Library. Members volunteer to bring in baked goods for each meeting and the Library provides coffee and tea from our neighbors, Indulge Coffee and Sandwich Co. The group wouldn’t be possible without the help of Judy Westwood, who volunteers her time each month to lead the engaging discussions.
If you are interested in attending or need a copy of an upcoming title, please call the Library or email micaylahall@stoningtonfreelibrary.org.
