We had a great time with some pretty talented photographers yesterday! The photo kids explored the library with cameras and captured all kinds of beauty. Stop by the SFL Stairwell Gallery to check out their work and to see the rest of the LOVE Where You Read Photo Exhibit on display until Dec. 30th. You can also check out a digital camera from the library to use at home. Ask for them at the front desk.

We were so happy to meet illustrator Gustaf Miller and his family this morning! Mr. Miller and his wife found his book on our shelves and entertained us with stories about the illustrations inside. Make sure to check out "Hats Off for the Fourth of July" by Harriet Ziefert, illustrated by Gustaf Miller, the next time you visit the library.

We've been busy in and out of the library this month and it's only October 17th! So far we've listened to stories by Jane Yolen, met with local board candidates, attended the opera at the United, made leather wrapped journals with Dana Campbell and learned about how to live fully with Noreen Kepple.

The month is not over so make plans with us!

Upcoming programs include: Cook the Book, Game Night and the Sanderson Sisters! Check out the Event Calendar online for more information.
