THANK YOU!

The Village Fair Book Sale is always a highlight of the summer! Book lovers from near and far purchased a variety of hardcovers, paperbacks, children's books, coffee table books, and select books to help raise over $4000 to support library operations. The planning, time, energy, and dedication of our community made it all possible.

Our heartfelt thanks to:

• Community members who generously donated books.

• Each and every volunteer who collected, sorted, boxed, moved, and sold over a thousand books. The Library is fortunate to have so many fantastic volunteers that make this event a success each year.

• Polly Dufresne, expert curator and manager of the Select Books table.

• Kathy Adami and the COMO for their partnership, guidance, and practical support.

• Leslie Bartholomew and the people of the United Church of Stonington for loaning us the Fellowship Hall as our book collection and sorting center.

All of our community members contributed to the success of the 2024 Village Fair Book Sale. As well as handling books, you drove trucks, baked cookies, set up tables, moved boxes, wrangled technology, supported other volunteers, and purchased books!
