SFL is pleased to help grown ups nourish their creative energy with our Grab & Go Activity Bags for ADULTS! November's theme is Origami Lanterns. Brighten up these long fall evenings with handmade origami lanterns. These look festive when placed over mini-light bulbs. Kit includes origami paper to create 25 lanterns and folding instructions. Join the Stonington Historical Society on Wednesday, November 9, at 6:30pm in the Palmer House kitchen for a community potluck! This fall we are Cooking the Book, which means every participant will cook something out of the same cookbook. We have chosen the Stonington Como-published book Stonington Fare. Anyone may peruse copies of the cookbook

An Outreach and Tradition Specialist from the Mohegan Tribe will discuss the history of the tribe during the 1600 and 1700s, and will touch on the life of Samson Occom. This virtual program is hosted by Stonington Free Library and co-sponsored by the Public Library of New London along with Bill Memorial, Mystic & Noank,
