Kicking off the spring season SFL welcomes young artist and Stonington High School graduate Ross Lanphere with a beautiful display of works inspired by the library’s graphic novel collection. The exhibit will run from March 31-June 1 and can be seen in the gallery located in the stairwell connecting the main library and the lower-level children’s room. Ross is a native of Stonington and Stonington High School Graduate (2019). Trained in fine art by local art teacher Julie Duba, Ross is also adept at digital illustration and design. He continues to practice and learn on his own. Most of the images displayed in the SFL Stairwell Gallery were printed on the library’s Savin MP2004ex printer/copier.
