Stonington Borough Art Walk Library Events

Stonington Free Library will be open 10 am – 3 pm on the day of the Art Walk, featuring an exhibit by artist (and Art Walk participant) Adrienne Pratt of Ship Shape Shop, and while you’re here, be sure to take a few snap shots of the library or the surrounding square and submit the 2025 LOVE Where You Read PHOTO Contest. Photographers ages 15+ may submit up to 2 images for a chance to win cash prizes and be featured on the SFL’s NEW library cards and displayed in the SFL Stairwell Gallery. Also, don’t miss sculptor Doug Rice on Wadawanuck Square.

On Sunday, September 14, at 5 pm, photographer David Hendley will be presenting his work and discussing his approach to photography and how he captures the subtle, powerful beauty of nature. More information HERE.

Be sure to take a stroll down Water Street to enjoy the many kiosks featuring talented local artists and artisans. Don’t forget to visit the many local participating shops and restaurants.
