Join us for a discussion of Circe by Madeline Miller 5/12 @ 2pm. “A retelling of the Odyssey from the perspective of Circe, daughter of Helios, god of the sun. Banished to a deserted island, she learns to hone her occult craft, and tame wild beasts. In this story she crosses paths with many of the most famous figures in all of mythology, including the Minotaur, Daedalus and his doomed son Icarus, the murderous Medea, and, of course, wily Odysseus.” Email ivyhope@stoningtonfreelibrary.org for more information.
