to enrich lives and build community by bringing information, ideas and people together
Interdisciplinary artist Jessica Cerullo will be joined by community members and musicians from Southeastern Connecticut Community Orchestra to share selections from the new collection, Some Stranger Somewhere. Some Stranger Somewhere frames and reclaims the pandemic experiences of caregivers in New London County. A hybrid volume featuring oral history, theater, and poetry, the book launch will feature live music and readings by community members.
This event is part of the local living archive project, The Ships In The Night, and is supported by community partnerships with the Stonington Historical Society, James Merrill House, and Southeastern Connecticut Community Orchestra. Funding for Some Stranger Somewhere was made possible by the Town of Stonington ARPA Grants for Arts & Culture, administered by the Cultural Coalition.
