Harry Martin presents Grant and Lee Good Comrades, Great Adversaries

Please join us for the Stonington Free Library’s second Live Zoom Talk on Sunday, June 14th at 5:00 PM when Harry Martin will speak on “Generals Grant and Lee in the Civil War”. Harry had a varied professional career as a lawyer, bank president and advisor to wealthy families. Over the past decade he has given many Sunday Library Talks on literary and historic subjects. He notes that: ”Few generals could be as strikingly different in appearance, comportment and family background as Grant and Lee. Few would be as similar as commanders in battle”.
He will explain that what these two men did in the Civil War determined America’s future.
