April 7-13 is National Library Week! Stop in and celebrate with us. Our library staff is planning a few surprises. Browse through our displays, pick up a new book, check out a Nintendo Switch, sign up for a program…there is so much to do! The Children’s Room will have activities set up all week: Monday- Space Placemats, Tuesday- Legos, Wednesday – Drop in Pop Art, Thursday – Game Day, Friday – Play dough.
Happening All Week
TAKE A SELFIE with your library card, PLAY a board game, add to the FAVORITE BOOK leader board, go for a SCAVENGER HUNT, GUESS HOW MANY BOOKS are in the library, go on a BLIND DATE with a book, check out the SFL GALLERY, say HI to your favorite librarian…

- SOLAR ECLIPSE DAY – Grab your eclipse glasses while supplies last
- SPACE PLACEMAT COLORING – All day in the Children’s Room
- VIRTUAL EVENT at 6pm – Marc Chagall: Joy, Color & a Jewish Experience. (Call or go online to register)
Tuesday, April 9
- VIRTUAL EVENT at 5pm – Learn about CT Foster Care (Call or go online to register)
- LEGO DAY – All day in Children’s Room

- SFL KNITTING GROUP – Meets every Wednesday at 1pm
- POP ART NIGHT – Drop in from 4-6pm in the Teen Room

- SFL BOOK GROUP Discussion at 2pm – “Attachments” by Rainbow Rowell
- SILENT BOOK CLUB from 5:30-6:30
- GAME DAY – Come and play! All day in the Children’s & Teens’ Rooms

- PATRON APPRECIATION DAY! Stop by for a visit and enjoy a treat on us!
