Bill Miller discusses Steel City

While Mr. Miller is currently a resident of Watch Hill, RI he grew up in Pittsburgh and was always fascinated by the living connections to its storied past: the Carnegie Library and Museum, the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and, in his own neighborhood, the Frick mansion, where Henry Frick’s daughter, Helen, still lived.

In his debut novel readers witness the seismic events in 1890’s Pittsburgh and the corporate infighting that led to the creation of U.S. Steel.
