Thoughtful Thursdays – Craig Floyd – The Giving Garden

Craig Floyd is a tenth generation farmer whose family has been farming on one piece of land since the early 1700s. His family roots date back to the pilgrims.
His life has taken many turns. He is a Vietnam Veteran who served 20 years in the military, worked 20 years with the postal service and is now the farm manager at the Coogan Farm in Mystic, Ct. All of the produce grown at the Coogan Farm’s Giving Garden is donated to help feed food insecure people in Southeastern Ct. This event is free and open to the public.
